I've had those difficult conversations and disagreements with family and objected when a friend makes a certain remark or "joke" that is not enlightened or is offensive. I pray that I am able to hold onto the moral compass that I've groomed throughout the years. Perhaps being gay, therefore in the minority, has helped in that development. We've all still got a long way to go.
